It’s very simple. I love to write. Whether through poetry, song lyrics or randomly expressing my thoughts on paper, it has been my creative outlet for as long as I can remember. However, in 2014, I decided to make the terrifying leap into writing my first novel. The process was overwhelming and intimidating at times, but the finished product was well worth the effort. Dancing at Midnight was published in 2016, and its sequel, The Other Side of Midnight, was published in 2017. I always knew there was a story in me. I just needed the right inspiration to get started.
In the meantime, I've spent the past 30 years working as a human resources/payroll professional. In that capacity, I have been able to gain tremendous insight into character development for my writing. By dealing with so many diverse individuals and backgrounds, I've come to learn that everyone has their own story to tell.
I currently live on the eastern shore of Maryland with my wonderful daughter, Kate and our lovable black cat, Montag. However, my heart will forever belong to my native California. I grew up in the Los Angeles basin during the seventies, and later raised my three children in the North Bay area of San Francisco. No matter where life leads, I will always be a Cali girl!
